During the COVID-19 pandemic, Longwood Vet Center will offer telemedicine virtual appointments for current patients through FaceTime and Google Duo.

Veterinarians Offer Virtual Pet Appointments During Coronavirus Pandemic

We are all facing unprecedented challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this, one thing is certain, pets are important members of our families, and the need to keep them healthy and safe remains a priority. We are fortunate, in many ways, to live in an era in which technology is easily utilized and readily available. In an effort to provide care for your pets while keeping everyone safe, we are offering a telemedicine service as a virtual means to evaluate illness in pets from a safe distance. Many conditions, including but not limited to skin infections, ear infections, and mild lamenesses can be evaluated in real time using virtual resources. We will employ the video conferencing technology of Google Duo and FaceTime to implement our telemedicine services. If you are a current client, and we have seen your pet within the past year, simply call us to set up a virtual appointment today!
